On Friday 12 September 2025, Aberdeenshire RFC proudly celebrated a historic milestone — our 150th Anniversary Gala Dinner. The evening was a truly memorable occasion, bringing together players past and present, supporters, and friends of the club to honour a century and a half of rugby at Aberdeenshire RFC.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a success. Your support and enthusiasm helped create an atmosphere worthy of this remarkable milestone in our club’s history.

An Incredible Fundraising Achievement

We are delighted to announce that a total of £25,000 was raised on the night. Of this, just over £20,600 will be reinvested directly into the youth section of the club, supporting the continued development of grassroots rugby in the area. In addition, just under £4,400 raised through the silent and live auctions will go to the Bill McLaren Foundation, helping to further its important work in supporting rugby and young people.

Looking Ahead

The success of our 150th Anniversary Gala Dinner is a testament to the strength and spirit of the Aberdeenshire rugby community. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved together — and even more excited for what lies ahead.
