1XV | SHIRE SQUAD SELECTION

It’s back to the Caley North Bowl this week as the 1XV welcomes Shetland RFC to The Fortress, Woodside, for the Semi-Final!

No change to the Front-Five from the previous weekend with Shane Lafferty, Liam Reid and Club Captain Steven Cook all retaining their places in the Front-Row while Captain Frazer Forman (Sponsored by Allied International) and Paul Watson (Sponsored by Mother Goose Ltd) fire the engines from Second-Row.

Connor Macfarlane returns to the squad this week and in good time as last week’s Number 8 Josh Taylor is out for some time with injury. Both Thomas Dugdale and Andy Forman both retain Blindside and Openside respectively.

Scrum-Half, Paul Harrow, and Fly-Half, Malcolm White, also return to the squad this week.

Gavin Cunningham pulls on the 13 jersey this week to join Jonny Gray who continues to retain his place as Inside-Centre.

Declan Coutts and Keiran Fulton switch this week on the Wings and Club Stalwart Barry “Rugby Baz” Davies steps in to cover us at Full-Back!

We have a full Bench this week with Steve Shrewsbury (Sponsored by CGTech Ltd), Jason Burton, Andy Falconer, Ben Morris, Andy Mckie, Jamie Stephen (Sponsored by Allied International) and Thomas White all provided essential cover.

Our women’s team, Aberdeenshire Quines, are also playing tomorrow and will travel to face Peterhead Ladies in the last of their league games this season. The bus Leave Nuffield Health Gym at 9:30am and The Bobbin at 9:45am for anyone that fancies travelling to support them! Kick Off 12pm in Peterhead. Good Luck, Lassies!
